When photographing urban spaces, one usually seeks to find an interesting foreground, some activity, that gives life to the space, some person, that catches attention. Right now, during the "Corona-lockdown" of cities all around the world, the same urban spaces, which usually hum of movements and sounds, present themselves empty and quiet. One single person is not disappearing in the crowds anymore, but stands forward as the individual they are.
I have been around in Copenhagen city center during an average weekday, early afternoon, where at other times the same streets would be busy and crowded. Right now empty foregrounds dominate the pictures and reflect urban space as frame, waiting to be revived again.
